Governance

The protocol is in beta right now. So the controls to change protocol parameters, interest rates, and new markets are with the developers. These controls will be transferred to the community once the protocol matures.

Eventually, it will be governed by a DAO consisting of $BODH token holders and governance structures both on-chain & off-chain. The founding team will bootstrap the initial release of the BODH token.

Examples of parameters that could be controlled through governance:

  • Addition of new assets

  • Interest Rate Model

  • Collateral and liquidation factor based on Risk

  • Changes to the Liquidity Mining Program to adjust incentives depending on market conditions
